Report from Remko Delfgaauw and Michel de Brabander.
In the night of july 23/24, we performed this project. The title refers to the symbol and to
the participants of the project. The team was built up around 6 women and 9 men. This total of
15 people made the cropcircle in one night. The symbol is built up out of 93 circles which are
connected by a ring with a diameter of 171 metres (ap. 570 feet). The complete figure stretches
for more than 650 feet. As one can see, we have tried to create a 3-D illusion.
The tools we use, make it possible to leave the crop as much as possible in tact. It takes a
lot of preparation and dedication to perform a symbol like this. But, as we prove, it can be
done.
We do not have the intention to ridicule the phenomenon, although it is our personal opinion
that a motivated team with the proper tools can make any symbol they put their focus on. Our
intention is to use this project as a teambuilding-project. We have experienced in the past
years, and now again, that the making of a highly advanced cropcircle is in itself one of the
most rewarding and teamspirit lifting projects we can imagine. We have financed the project
ourselves. The participants were all connected to Bever Innovations. (Bever Innovations is a
small but dedicated technical design & consultancy agency.)
In our opinion the project was a succes, The result in the field is almost perfect and the
teamspirit has definitely received a strong impulse.
