Just two days after the previous event (night of August 19/20) a second formation appeared in Stadskanaal at a stone's throw of the first one, in the same field. It was without doubt the Dutch crown on the year 2000: a very well-made, beautiful pictogram combining traditional British design elements with some very original features. The lay was perfect, flat as a penny and very smooth and regular with the familiar 'flowing water' association. No biophysical sampling could be done, unfortunately, due to time constraints. We will have to wait until next year.
